About Me
I am registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and completed my graduate training at the University of Calgary and my pre-doctoral internship at the University of Manitoba.
My therapeutic work draws primarily on the principles of acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness meditation and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). I enjoy integrating these modalities to develop a plan with clients that suits both their mental health needs and their own personal tastes. The majority of my clients have experienced depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and/or sexual health concerns. I also have a special interest and understanding of adult ADHD, and can offer both assessments and skills-based treatment if ADHD is a concern for you.
Personally, I am a lover of all things nature and live on a small hobby farm with my husband, adolescent daughter, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 finches, 18 chickens, and 1 very special pot-bellied pig.
